Condition life insurance is the master form of life insurance. It's believed to be a form of "complete" insurance. This means that the actual insurance policy itself constructs no cash value. Without cash respect, the insurance policy can't be passed out for revenue. The additional cases of life insurance, such as permanent life insurance, altogether life, variable universal life, and universal life, are completely different in this they do have an hard cash value and can be passed out for revenue before the insurance policy is cashed in.
It's ridiculous, thank God for Sky+ and common sense. Its like they know the people who are watching are never happy- but if they have crap kitchens and are at home watching these ads how do these companies expect them to pay for the goods? Actually maybe the compensation they get can pay for it.

In response to:Daytime telly ads

I had the misfortune to have an operation in March and spent 6 weeks at home recovering. Against my better judgement I dipped into daytime TV.

Like you I was surprised at how different the ads are from evening TV.

It seems the TV companies push ads that:

1. Make people dissatisfied with their lives. "Is you car / kitchen / bathroom etc. old and tired".

2. Then offer all manner of 'cheap' credit. "We accept applicatons from everyone regardless of income / credit record and ONLY charge (in very very small print) 30% APR / reposses your house / break your legs.

3. Finally, when their victims are desperately in debt, encourage them to sue on the vile 'no win no fee' basis. "Have you been injured / slipped / tripped / hurt your little finger? Then find someone else to blame and we will sue them for you and obtain lots of cash for you and us)".

I was almost glad to get back to work! ;)
